A complete redesign of the original ASP.NET, it runs on .NET, a fast, modular platform that supports Windows, macOS, and Linux. ASP.NET Core provides tools for building web APIs, real-time apps with SignalR, and server-rendered pages with Razor Pages and Blazor. It includes built-in dependency injection, a configurable middleware pipeline, and first-class Docker support.
